Cet équipement culturel a été réalisé en restruturant et agrandissant une ancienne école et un bâtiment réunis autour d'une cour. Il a fallu retrouver des volumes dans les anciens bâtiments, construire une extension et isoler acoustiquement ces locaux afin d'abriter trois sections musicales indépendantes (l'ecole de musique traditionnelle, la fanfare et l'harmonie municipale). L'extension a permis un affichage renouvelé de l'équipement sur l'avenue de l'Hippodrome, associant bois bakélisé et larges baies vitrées, emalit blanc et verres transparents, en harmonie avec les constructions originelles en brique.

This cultural equipment has been built putting together an old school and a building around the play ground. We had to design the volumes in the ancient buildings and to add a development. We also had to insulate the premises with soundproofing in order to separate the three different musical sections.
