Student Residence and 111 Housing Units

Nanterre

Located on Boulevard du Général-Leclerc, the project creates 111 controlled and managed home ownership housing units and 92 student housing units as well as 2 700 m² of shops on ground floor level. The operation is divided into two separate entities connected on basement level by a private car park.
The height of the buildings matches the domestic scale of the single family homes and the community centre, as well as the more contrasted volumetry of the buildings on Rue Zilina and Rue de la Chasse.
This allows sequences to be organised, creating visual openings that allow sunlight to penetrate through to the north-facing shopping centre.
The organisation of the buildings on the plot gives the housing units the best possible daylight as well as south or west oriented loggias for most typologies. The buildings meet RT 2012 thermal standards.
